Ms. Shaw’s prior experience in the entertainment industry reaches across various mediums, radio, concert productions and conferences. She worked closely with music entrepreneur,
Don Taylor manager for such artists as Bob Marley, L.A. & Babyface, and Soul II Soul.
Her experiences have enabled her to amass a wealth of knowledge about publishing, organizing and monitoring projects for studio and concert productions. As Promotions Representative, Ms. Shaw’ credits include, facilitating the contractual procurement of Kenny Smith to the Hendrix/MCA label. This resulted in the Grammy nominated and Stellar Award winning CD “So Real.” Ms. Shaw acted as Associate Producer of the Urban focus Music conference/Urban Fest L.A. at the University of Southern California that featured artists performance by Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Sean Paul, Avant, Eric Benet and others.
Ms. Shaw’s knowledge and many talents have enabled her to function as an independent consultant for many companies including Airtight Entertainment, and Anansi/JAD records.
She also had the wonderful opportunity to work on the film Higher Ground (Voices of Contemporary Gospel Music), conducting interviews with luminaries of Gospel Music such
as Albertina Walker, Vickie Winans, The Soulseekers, Beau Williams, Donald Lawrence,
Deneice Williams and so many others.
Also, her travels have enabled her to create professional relationships in the United Kingdom, France and across the United States and has helped her to develop a sense of style, presentation and attention to details that is essential for producing successful productions
of any sort.
In the current chapter of my life, I am all about accepting and completing my assignment in
the Body of Christ. Because even with all the worldly accomplishments, I still suffered from
low self esteem and was often operating outside of God’s will in many of my endeavors.
The Lord placed Ridiculous Situations on my heart because a lot of the suffering amongst single believers stems from not putting God first and not being serious about our assignment in the Body of Christ. I know that once we begin to put first things first (Matthew 6:33),
total fulfillment in every area of life will manifest.
